Re: Anderson Varejao Trade Ideas
I dont give a crap about what respect the league has for Gilbert. He still has the respect of the Cleveland fans...
You dont build a team for Lebron. He ha already shown he is not a trustworthy partner. Its like building a house for your ex-wife in her favorite colors, thinking she is going to come back to you.... after she married some other guy.
You build a long term organization on good decisions, flexibility, contingency plans, solid people you can trust. We cannot know today that Shabazz is even available when we draft. You look at the situation, in this case, the window to trade Andy.
I am not a big fan of trading Andy for Rudy, but I would never give up a lottery or near lottery pick for him. Same with Gasol for that matter. But if you can get Rudy for Andy, and maybe include Gibson and get a young player back, well that is not a disaster deal. I still like OKC best, I still think Golden State is a possibility, and I am interested in the Minny deal if it includes Pek and The Gingerbread man. Derek Williams is interesting only if I flip him somehow. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit - Aristotle as quoted by Shaq..

Re: Anderson Varejao Trade Ideas
Please stop with the Lebron/ex-wife thing, it's really getting old. Also, if Gilbert turns down Lebron in free agency because of pride he is an idiot. Cavs would definitely be the joke of the league.

Re: Anderson Varejao Trade Ideas
LBJ said he wouldnt mind playing for cleveland again, Gilbert's right hand man said dan would take LBJ back. No more lebron talk in here.
AV for Pek + DWill is solid, maybe not the most exciting, but solid

Re: Anderson Varejao Trade Ideas
The butthurt is incredibly strong in here...
LET IT GO PEOPLE. HE LEFT IN FREE AGENCY, AS WAS HIS RIGHT. HE WON HIS RING. DEAL WITH IT AND DON'T PRETEND LIKE YOU WOULD NEVER WATCH THE CAVS AGAIN IF HE RETURNED, BECAUSE YOU ARE FULL OF SHIT.
Christ on a stick, people.

Re: Anderson Varejao Trade Ideas
Back on topic, only way I see Andy getting moved to minnesota is for a pick, pekovic, and/or Williams.

Re: Anderson Varejao Trade Ideas
I heard the same quote on knr. I would imagine he would need to play in a game first before he was dealt.
