Re: Anderson Varejao Trade Ideas
I'm happy Grant pushed for Eric Bledsoe, otherwise I feel that deal would've been lopsided. I would still of preferred the T-Wolves deal. Anyway, Andy was playing like an All-Star all season, you could even make the argument he might be the best C in the league this year. DeAndre Jordan wouldn't have been a good fit imo. He plays close to the basket much like Tristan. We've seen what Tristan has done thus far without Andy being of the floor. His confidence level is at an all-time high. With Andy, his numbers were hindered.
I don't want Tristan partnered with another big who can't knock down a 10-12 foot jumper. I'm looking at next years draft, and Alex Len should be a primary target for the Cavs. He's got good footwork, solid rebounder and excellent shot blocker. Since Andy will be out 6-8 weeks, I think it's safe to say he won't be traded this year at all (unless by chance a team waives his physical and agrees to a trade) which is highly unlikely. I wouldn't rule Andy being traded on draft night if Cavs are targeting another player in the lottery."I have missed over 9,000 shots, lost over 300 games. I have been trusted to take the game-winning shot 26 times, and missed. And that is why I succeed." -- Michael Jordan

Re: Anderson Varejao Trade Ideas
Vecsey stopped being relevant in NBA circles over a decade ago. Even then he was just a rumor mongerer so I wouldn't place much faith in anything he's reporting. There's no way the Clips deal Bledsoe now who is probably their 3rd best player behind CP3 and Griffin although I can see him dealt after Paul is resigned. Jordan is overpaid and except for the occasional alley oop isn't all that good anyway.

Re: Anderson Varejao Trade Ideas
Trade him on draft for a mid to late 1st round pick and a young prospect.
