Sheesh, I can't catch a break lol. I just wanted to emphasize how bad Howard made Monroe look on defense. I thought it had a sarcastic ring to it but I guess not.

When he's able to not think and just act, is when the flashes of his great ability show themselves. That was all reaction--and looked pretty good/natural in the process. Now, if you told him before the play he'd have to make a 25-ft shot, even without a defense or the shot clock, I bet he misses 9-10.

The kid's been saying he has a J. Even if he reaches his upside, it's going to be real interesting to see if that's like Amare (as he seems to wish), or more like Howard, or Chandler.

22 points on 8/10 from the floor in 20 minutes. This rookie class is looking pretty absurd.

Also 6/9 FT and 9 rebounds. It's still too early to tell cause every indication shows he's still a bust from his season debut.

Really, his physical gifts are amazing. Also, his free throws does not look as bad as TT's so he can improve on those.

The thing about Drummond that blows my mind is just watching him move around the floor. The kid just darts around the floor so effortlessly, never seen anything like from a guy that size...if he figures out how to play winning basketball then he will be phenomenal.
Does Cleveland actually have good luck?

He's reminding me moreso of Hibbert than Howard in the way he moves and jumps. Not that that's a bad thing.

I was expecting his lower body and jumping to be more explosive, whereas it seems he's getting those and-ones and lay-ins on upper body strength.
How about a quick simile: Watching the Browns from '99-'12 is like waiting for someone to finish shitting when you've gotta go piss real bad. Now imagine waiting on a 12 year shit...

if he can frustrate Ibaka, he is going to be very very good. Pistons still suck, but they are going ot get another lottery pick this year and they have a stacked front line. if they can hang on to drummond, they are going to ba able to make a run at the top... Actually pistons might be a good next move for Brown.

Give him a couple years so he can bulk up with more muscle on his upper and lower body and I think he'll dunk everything within 3 feet. Right now, what is most impressive is his freaking soft hands and soft touch around the rim. He's not trying to dunk everything, just laying in everything with ease. It's funny watching Ibaka and Perkins getting frustrated with him lol.

I know all of us here have been Drummond supporters. But with that said. I hope we are all aboard this Dion Train. I am.

I fully support Dion and I hope he develops into a superstar. But I'm also a Drummond fan and felt that some of the criticism he received was unjust. Only time will tell if he can prove the critics wrong but I said from the start, this kid was well worth the #4 pick if he was available.

I completely agree. No offense to Dion, but potential superstar bigs are harder to come by than good-very good wing players. If we get a top 3 pick this year, and don't take a C if Muhammed is gone, then I am pretty sure Grant just hates tall people.

O ya. Big time haters here. To be the position the Cavs were in with Kyrie already on board and the option to select Drummond in the following draft seemed like a Wet Dream to me lol. I am super pleasantly suprised with Dion. If I had to pick a close 2nd to a Star PG Center Combo it would be what we have now. Star PG with a great back court running mate.
