Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
I'd go with a more athletic pre injury Brandon Roy'ish style imo
Has the length to play the 3 too
I expect Shabazz to be the player that falls around the draft due to the amount of legit bigman prospects that will declare adn the lack of depth for that spot in the league

Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
Kinda, but that would be great to have at the small forward position. If he puts on 10 more lbs, he'd be perfectly fine for that position. His wingspan, athleticism, and standing reach are all great for a small forward. But alas, I think he'll end up being a shooting guard, but he could definitely play small forward at the NBA level, I'm sure.

Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
I wanna see him play a couple of times before I say anything definitive, but based on the little I've seen/read about him, he reminds me of a skinnier LaMarcus Aldridge in college. I think his style could fit ours very well and if he gains weight he could be really good.

TLDR; however, thought the first few paragraphs were pretty interesting. His dad sounded like a boss, 18 kids with 5 different women.
At least he has some weight to start with at about 250. Austin is 205 *eek*

Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
This is a perfect draft to target a bigman, and Alex Len is someone that is near the top of my early watch list. Look what he did to Noel
Alex Lin vs Kentucky

Noel
Bennett(only if after the draft workouts they think he is legit SF)
Porter
Len
Shabazz i guess

Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
Wow he has basketball skills in the post. He displays skills of a throwback big with his spin moves and turnaround jumpshot, his jumper also looks smooth and he has near perfect mechanics on it. I also like his athletic ability with his dunks and up and under. He looks like the type of player you can threw it down to for easy points. He has true center size too at 7'1 240.

Len showed flashes as a freshman after coming over from the Ukraine. He could be this year's Meyers Leonard as he shows a lot of size and potential. The development between the freshman and sophomore seasons is often a big one and Len could step into a key role for Maryland. He shows the agility to get up and down the floor and the touch to hit shots. NBA Comparison: Zydrunas Ilgauskas

Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
Also to add on Len averaged 2.1 blocks per game last year in only 21minutes compare to 2 guys from last draft who are thought of as defensive anchors or will have great impacts on defense in drummond and myers leonards. Drummond got 2.7 in 28min and leonard 1.9 in 32min
