Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
This will be a loss for the Lakers, can't see them coming back from a 14 point deficit against the Nuggets, especially when Kobe sucked so far...

Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
Down 15? They should just amnesty Kobe. 1-7FG for 2 freaking points? Loser...

Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
These Lakers aren't making the playoffs...and it's a damn shame.
Now we gotta burn some assets to get another top 20 pick.

Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
Denver is 23-3 at home coming into tonight. Even tougher on a back-to-back. Lakers visit OKC soon, but the majority of their remaining road games are more manageable. Tonight's game is why their win in Dallas was so important.
In terms of tonight's games, I wonder if Detroit is on their way to a steep fall. They have a ton of road games left.

Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
howards ft shooting skills aren't helping neither. at some point during the first half denvers "hack a howard" strategy became blatantly obvious...
i hope kobe gets hot and turns this faried dunk festival into a contested game again..[SIGPIC]http://realcavsfans.com/signaturepics/sigpic9684_1.gif[/SIGPIC]

Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
Edit: ESPN box score on the Boston/Utah game was wrong. Boston is up which is good.
The Lakers are maddening in that it is 2 steps forward, 1 step back with them all season.
Problem is they built such a damn hole that they don't have the luxury of the step back part anymore.
On any given night they can play with anyone, but sustained consistency has been the big issue.

Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
Boston Utah coming down to the wire. Pierce with a clutch jumper for a 2 point lead.

Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
Pierce misses a dumb fall away after a dumb final possession...OT. Don't see Boston pulling this one out. Seriously tired legs on these old fools.
EDIT: Well...scratch that. Pierce closing the game out, Kyrie style. 7 straight in OT. Boston up 5 with a minute leftLast edited by chrisrich91; 02-25-2013 at 11:33 PM.

Utah coming back down to earth. Still think LA can catch them as long as they have no more injuries.

Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
Tonight was a double nightmare, having to root for both the Lakers and Celtics.

But I'll take the Utah loss and hope the Lakers can start to clean up on some of the weaker teams on their schedule. They have a lot of winnable games over the next dozen.Last edited by wuck; 02-26-2013 at 12:00 AM.

Lakers just gotta keep winning every 2 out of 3 and hope that Utah plays .500.

Re: Tracking the 2013 Draft Picks
I spent the majority of my evening rooting for the Lakers and Celtics...fun times.
Actually it was still a pretty good night for our draft pick despite the Laker loss. I was a bit surprised the Celtics pulled out a win at Utah on the 2nd night of a back to back.
