Utah coming back down to earth. Still think LA can catch them as long as they have no more injuries.

Tonight was a double nightmare, having to root for both the Lakers and Celtics.

But I'll take the Utah loss and hope the Lakers can start to clean up on some of the weaker teams on their schedule. They have a lot of winnable games over the next dozen.

Lakers just gotta keep winning every 2 out of 3 and hope that Utah plays .500.

I spent the majority of my evening rooting for the Lakers and Celtics...fun times.

Actually it was still a pretty good night for our draft pick despite the Laker loss. I was a bit surprised the Celtics pulled out a win at Utah on the 2nd night of a back to back.

Utah has a pretty tough schedule from now to the end of March, so I think the Lakers should make up some ground on them. Utah has a 4 game east trip, a 3 game Texas trip and a trip to OKC in between those. Houston will probably pass Utah and be safe.

First time a Kobe Bryant Lakers team has 30 losses before March since '97-'98, only our luck.

This is a big stretch coming up:

Utah plays 5 of their next 8 games on the road, including 5 out of 6 on the road in a 10 day stretch starting on the 4th. Utah is struggling on the road at 10-19.

Houston plays 4 of their next 6 on the road, where they are just a shade better than Utah, at 12-19. They have a pair of home & home games between now & the 13th, with Dallas & with Phoenix. Hopefully Dallas & Phoenix can at least split those.

Between now & the 13th, the Lakers are going to have to get some tough wins, as they play home games vs Atlanta & Chicago, and are on the road against OKC & Atlanta (Followed by a game in Indiana on the 15th). The Lakers also struggle on the road, at 10-19.

Lakers can't afford to lose him even for a night, so we need to hope he finds a way to cool it out there.

I believe the league has rescinded that technical.

I did some grave digging to toot my own horn. Still predicting the 30 wins and the 6th seed, but we might end up tied for the 6th seed.

You need to make a new prediction predicting a 19-63 season for Tank's sake.

Utah, Golden State, and Houston all in really close games right now. Could be a great night, or a failure.

Utah & Houston losing these home games, where they've been great this season, would be huge.

EDIT: Houston & Milwaukee tied with 5:33 to go.

Utah down 8 at the half.

Golden State down 1 with 8:51 to go.

Milwaukee goes up 2 on Houston with :45 to go.

*EDIT* And Houston ties it with :34 left.

Golden State down 3 to N.Y with 6:20 left.

Curry with 46 on 16-25 shooting (9-11 from 3). Chandler with 25 boards.

Holy shit if that 3 counts for the Bucks.
