I too was ultimately disappointed that waiters didn't come back into the game but it is one game and 20 minute nights can be expected for rookies on occasion.
Gibson had solid production and netted a - 24 on the court which makes it clear he wasn't getting any help offensively regardless of whether it was the bench or starters he was surrounded by.

Damn. Can you imagine having Kevin Martin and Eric Maynor-types of players on our bench? That's why this rebuild isn't even close to complete yet. Grant's been doing the right thing in stockpiling all of these assets. We need another good (or lucky) draft and a trade or two to fill out a team of NBA players.
Then we can stop having to rely on the Donald Sloan and Samardo Samuel's of the world...

Kyrie will take a major step to being a superstar when he curbs his ole' defense. As the most talented player on the team, he has to set a better example. The way he ran out of KDs' path on one of Durants' breakaways looked like he heard someone pull a fire alarm.

Kyrie had no shot to do anything but foul Durant. When I saw it I thought smart play.
