Re: 2012 Baseball Offseason Player Movement Thread
Anyone who posts disparaging remarks about the Indians is spamming the site. Anyone who posts licking Shapiro's balls is, well, contributing positively to the community.

Re: 2012 Baseball Offseason Player Movement Thread
Any updates on Youk or Swisher. Would love to get both of those guys. Sad to see the cabera trade fall through as it really could of helped our rotation. Still not sure what we are going to do about our starting pitching next year.

Re: 2012 Baseball Offseason Player Movement Thread
not sure how I feel about this- on one hand, I am suprrised he was available that cheaply, considering what he can do when healthy. At the same time, I think it shows how leery teams are of him that he essentially got the same deal as Joe Blanton. Wonder if this deal doesn't embolden the DBacks into sacrificing young pitching to get Asdrubal. Hmm...

Re: 2012 Baseball Offseason Player Movement Thread
It's funny, because the player they're trading was acquired in a trade.
So were Choo and Perez, for that matter.
But hey, the CC and Lee trade didn't work out....so I guess it's better to just say that's what happens every time and make sure to do as little research as possible.
Apparently it's a more difficult concept for you.

Re: 2012 Baseball Offseason Player Movement Thread
I'm trying to remember the last time the Indians acquired a stud player .... straining my brain here ... I mean, there is probably a reason they've sucked perennially for about a full decade. But everything is just fine with the organization according to b00bie, despite this fact. Just fine in Tribe Land. Perhaps we can start to forgive the botching of the CC/Lee trades when they start bringing in players that help them win games again. That'll happen someday, right?
