Biggest question mark is obviously LB. When you convert a FB to LB mid season and he is your second best LB, you have issues.
    Isn't Roby a Sophomore?

He redshirted his first season. Having been on campus for three seasons makes him draft eligible.

Shaziers gonna have to step up even more next year. Not worried about DLine for next couple of years. Needs Mike thomas to step up next year at WR. So excited for next year.

Hard to expect even better production from Shazier if we're trying to be fair here. Need other guys to step up.

Check this out (prior to week 12):

Manti Te'o: 98 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, 4 pass breakups, 4 QB hurries, 0 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, and 6 interceptions.

Ryan Shazier: 109 total tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 11 pass breakups, 3 QB hurries, 3 forced fumbles, 0 fumble recoveries, 1 interception and 1 touchdown

He has Heisman-esque numbers as a sophomore. Him and Roby will lead this defense next year

Meh, Shazier is a beast and all....but you can't really tell how much better or worse than he is than anyone else based tackles.

LB numbers always seem to be pretty subjective in that regard.

So Te'O is better because of interceptions that fell in his lap?

    Yes.

By saying that LB statistics are subjective and don't paint a good picture of who is the better overall player, clearly I meant that his interceptions make him better than Shazier.

For reference, neither Shazier or Te'o rank in the top 25 nationally in tackles.

They'll still be taken ahead of all of those guys in front of them, because they're elite athletes who project to be better at the NFL level.

Shazier is a Sophmore. Te'o is a senior. Give Shazier two more years of development and he will be five steps ahead of Te'o

ATH Gareon Conley decommits from #Michigan
Miles has confirmed that Massilon (OH) ATH Gareon Conley has decommited from Michigan.

Conley the has ability to play WR and DB. Gareon also told Miles that he will be taking an official to Ohio State, but not Oregon.
