Re: Help Me Buy a Car.
Doc...
I say that because I have experience with the TL but also because I really liked the body style changes they made in '09. I'm not a fan of the way the old ones look. It's a fantastic car now, but it was still a damn good car then.
Sounds like you can afford under $20k. Get that pussy pounder and prove it.How about a quick simile: Watching the Browns from '99-'12 is like waiting for someone to finish shitting when you've gotta go piss real bad. Now imagine waiting on a 12 year shit...

Re: Help Me Buy a Car.
I just got a nice blue like new 2011 Mitsu Lancer GT for $18k, only had 15k miles on it (looks like this: http://www.japanesesportcars.com/pho...ralliart-5.jpg). My advice would be to look for a used car 2010 or newer with low miles, like less than 20k miles and still under warranty. Find the cars that meet that criteria and are in your price range and pick a few that suit you the best. I think that will give you the best bang for your buck, just make sure the thing wasn't in a serious accident. The car I got was leased by the previous owner, in excellent condition and still under warranty.
When you go into the dealership, give the car a test drive to make sure you like the feel of driving it and to make sure it runs good. When you start talking price, tell that salesmen the price they have is crazy and then low ball him. He'll say some shit about how he doesn't think his boss will let him go much lower, he will. Sometimes you can get them $3-5k off of the asking price. Just act like you're not in love with the car and make him think you have some other cars you want to check out. If they're not coming down on the price, just leave. They may call you back you then or they might give you a call in a day or two and tell you they can give you a better offer. I probably could have gotten a better deal on my car if I had followed that advice
. I only got them down from their asking price by a thousand, you live and you learn.
Does Cleveland actually have good luck?

Re: Help Me Buy a Car.
20k for a used Corvette? You can buy a new Cruze for 17k!
See how that logic doesn't apply if you don't think cars are simply appliances?
I wish buying a car was as easy as "Go to autotrader, find all CPO cars under 15k" for me...mine is more like "Find the three or four models that actually exist that fit your criteria and standards, research a ton of head to head reviews and forums and reliability issues, drive all the cars if you can find them in the area (but you can't so you have to drive worse trim levels of the same car), do an autotrader search for the specific model and trim level that you want in a 500 mile radius, pick between the two available"i like jorts

Re: Help Me Buy a Car.
Got me a 2010 Corolla a few weeks ago. Drives like a sweety, only got 60 on it. My first car since 2009 when I sold my Dodge Stratus, thing was a piece of shit.

Re: Help Me Buy a Car.
Just buy two motorbikes and tie them together with ropes or chains.
