I actually dont see a problem with it. He's trying to chase every rebound just like Andy, just so happens he tried to go through Andy to get one.

Tristans problems stem from a lack of understanding for the game. Basketball is a constant test. You can't look at a guy and say, he had so and so rebounds and he played to his potential. That is complete bullshit, watch the game. Tristan is constantly lost on defense and has no explosive ability to shotblock or have any impact on offense. The man cannot even run a pick and roll from 3rd grade. This is beyond ridiculous and the team called him out on it tonight.

I could give two shits about the amount of rebounds a guy has if he isn't producing when needed. We aren't a team set up for a Rodman, we need a legit PF who can impact on both sides of the floor. Tristan has shown very little improvement.
Obviously your idea of what our PF should be contributing and the people who actually call the shots differ. If the cavs wanted a PF with an offensive skillset they wouldn't have drafted TT. IF they were concerned with how his lack of offensive skills impacts the team, he would never touch the court. Defense and rebounding are his strengths. Your disdain for him is clearly clouding your evaluation of him.

Also, so what Varejo chewed him out about jumping over his back, that doesn't mean the team was calling him out on his shortcomings. TT was doing his job and lost sight of Andy. Infact, its a good thing, he's trying to chase down every loose ball just like Andy, going through anything in his way...just like Andy.

The hate towards TT is comical. He is a raw big man, everybody knows this. People constantly griping about his offense, but the team is still putting points up on the board. He is not causing us to lose games. We've had more than a handful of PF who could score, dunk with elite athleticism, and completely killed us. Give the kid some time to freaking DEVELOP. He obviously has a lot a work to do, but by no means is he a finished product 70 or so games into his career.

I love this idea that is slowly gaining steam that Tristan is now "lost" on defense. He's been quite solid on defense so far.
Patiently waiting for the day I can finally say "Daniel Gibson is no longer a Cavalier." It will be glorious.

Tyler Zeller has an offensive skill set everyone wants thomopson to have. zeller also has demonstrated passing skills as well.

both went 1-7 tonight with three attempts blocked.

Tristan had been perfoming well offensvly he was due for a dip. now we get to see how responds.
