I really like our chances if RGIII doesn't start but I wouldn't overlook Kirk Cousins. He may not be a top 5 rookie QB but he does seem to have the skills to one day be a starter. Its just ridiculous to think about how strong this years QB class was. Griffin and Luck playing like elite Qbs, Wilson is showing alot of promise, Weeden and Tannehill look like capable starters that need a little time to develop, Foles looks to be the new QB for the Eagles and Cousins hasn't played enough in the regular season to say hes going to be good but if its anything like how he played in the preseason he could eventually become the 7th starting rookie from this class if the Redskins get rid of him.

As an aside it's pretty impressive that he and Cecil Shorts are both doing well in the NFL.

Mt. Union is an outstanding program, but D3 football simply isn't close to the same level as D1.

Same goes to JCU having London Fletcher do so well for so long in the NFL, and Tom Arth hanging on an NFL roster spot for a decent while. Also the same thing with, in the NBA, Devean George making a roster as long as he did after playing at Augsburg of Minnesota.

All I know is that he was put on the the IR with a designation to return. I saw around a week ago that he was running routes early in the morning. I am not sure we need to rush him back, but it wouldn't hurt to have him back either.
