They aren't rushing to bring him back at this point. In fact, I couldn't be surprised if they were worried so much that they'd make him come off the bench or something crazy. They need him to stay healthy just until the deadline. If I was the manager, I'd ask the coach to not play him until 2 weeks before the deadline. Show him off, then do what you need to do.
