Re: Game 31 | Hawks @ Cavs | Friday December 28, 7:30 PM EST
With Dion tonight I felt like I was watching one of those OKC games where Durant really has it going and Westbrook just kind of ignores it and continues to do his own thing.
Kyrie was feeling it tonight, but too many times he would go multiple possessions without getting a shot or touching the ball because Dion was in his own little world in the 2nd half.
When Kyrie is feeling it like he was for a stretch there, the team needs to defer to him because he is that kind of scorer. He should be leading the team in shots, not the guy shooting 35% from the floor.

Irving cooled off at the end, it didn't matter. Dion pretty much let Irving do his thing, but when that ended, he rushed and pushed. That will hurt your shooting form more than anything.
Pitfalls of a team's core made up of 20-22 year olds.

Dion's shooting form was beginning to lock in before the injury but now it looks as though he's regressed back to the beginning of the year. He's a momentum killer with his Kobe-esque pull up shots in transition; and lastly, his ability to finish at the rim is also getting worrisome. Dion's got good potential but someone needs to be there to knock him upside the head and remind him to not settle and square up from time to time.
Kyrie could have contested at least a few of Teague's shots and I think we would have won this game. Of course it's not just on him, Zeller has literal spazzes where he fucks it up for everyone 2-5 possessions at a time, BUT when he plays with no hesitation everything is smooth sailing, everything is money.
Viva la tank

Dion wasn't the one who launched a 25 footer out of a timeout down 1. That was all Irving, I'm pretty sure that wasn't the play Scott had drawn up. Irving just made one after they had called the timeout so he certainly thought he would make that one. Point is, it's not just a dion problem.

Everyone started playing sloppy and no one was passing to keep Atlanta defense off balance. Team loss.
WHEN WE FINALLY WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP.......WE WON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

Al Horford @Al_Horford
Cleveland fans are great! Very impressed with the way they support their team.

Re: Game 31 | Hawks @ Cavs | Friday December 28, 7:30 PM EST
I've had a couple beers. But this isn't an impossible idea. The Cavs were interested in the past. Ferry is GM of the Hawks so a good relationship helps. Ferry also likes Varejao. Josh Smith is a Hawk and Smith and Ferry are rumored to have an understanding about his next deal. Supposedly Dwight Howard is Smith's best friend. Perhaps Smith could convince Howard to come to Atlanta making Horford unnecessary and unhappy. If Ferry believes he can get Howard, I wouldn't be surprised if Horford becomes available. Varejao and picks young pieces for Horford? Not impossible IMO.

Dion got cold. He's a rookie, it happens.
