Actually generally unless you tear all of them you can walk. The problem is you have no ability to twist on the knee. A neighbor has had a torn ligament in his knee for almost 30 years, and can get around just fine as long as he can just walk

This. I tore my ACL and meniscus in high school. Coach told me it was probably just a bruise, and to walk it off. Went back in two plays later but every time I made a cut my knee gave out. Played two more weeks until I realized it wasn't getting better and got an MRI.

That's ridiculous to say it was a bad move by them. Gimme a break, the entire board was pissed when we couldn't get him. You can't see the future, and no one could predict this. Every athlete is prone to this.

That said, I agree with PR, stupid to play him when he was CLEARLY hurt! He's the future. The Redskins were not going to win a SB. I hope everything goes well for him. I am not sour over not getting him. I want this kid to have a great future.
