Prince wrote and recorded all of the music on the Time albums, including the songs in purple rain. Morris Day just did the lead vocals. They are effectively just more Prince albums. The band the Time was just used for touring. The one exception is The Bird was recorded from a live while filming Purple rain.

Prince recorded all the music himself, crediting the production to Jamie Starr and Morris Day, who at least was allowed to sing on the record, but was required to follow Prince's guide vocals note-for-note.

Amazon is the best if you want MP3 albums cheaply. They put up 100 for $5 every month. Managed to pick up that Foreigner: No End In Sight Album for $5, and it contains 32 songs. Incredible steal.

Well, again, Amazon doesn't put MP3 albums on sale because they aren't selling well, they do it because they want you to sit there and spend even more money. Bon Jovi's newest album that was just released is only $5. Must not be selling well.
