That's certainly one take, although Tristan has been doing a heckuva lot to pick up the slack.

Another take is that our starting unit and bench are levelling out, and now there are actually guys who can come in off the bench and compliment the starters. We're looking more and more like a sustainable .500 team.

yes, the bench is much better, .500 should sustainable. We may even be able to do better than that the rest of the way.

Imagine when Coach Scott realizes that Gee doesn't have to play at all, let alone start?

Winning is fun, but higher draft pick is more fun, as it will lead to more wins in the future, rather than being stuck in the middle.

There needs to be a balance. All out tanking has a negative effect on the morale of the young players. But winning games only to fall short of the playoffs and hurt our draft position is a futile endeavor as well.

I'm not sure just where the happy medium is, but it's sure nice when the young guys play well together and have some success. Tanking is hard on the talent you already have.

Can't see why a skilled manager can't have a little of both. They make a fun roster that starts to win but manages to move around their draft picks to get the high commodity player they want. You win at both. Sure beats tanking and making the players feel like bitches anyways ...

    for development and progression

if the cavs lost by one point every single game but played hard and held the other team to less than 100 points for the rest of the season i would be cool with it
