Re: Game 46: Warriors @ Cavs, Tuesday, January 29, 2013, 7:00 PM EST
Not to defend Gee completely, but he does guard the best players every game regardless if they are a 1, 2, or a 3. He is probably getting a little worn down. I get worried every time he dribbles more than 3 times. He looks like he is hesitating a lot lately.
WHEN WE FINALLY WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP.......WE WON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

Patiently waiting for the day I can finally say "Daniel Gibson is no longer a Cavalier." It will be glorious.

Exactly.
To make a D leaguer a starter, even on a bad team, is an accomplishment. Gee is doing pretty much what he should be doing. He is undersized for the 3 and has a limited skill-set and yet to the best of my knowledge he has started every game this year.
I like the guy, he is a great story but he was always destined to be going to the bench the soon as we get a half way decent replacement. With less minutes and a narrower role i think he will be ok as the 7th or 8th guy on our rotation.

Re: Game 46: Warriors @ Cavs, Tuesday, January 29, 2013, 7:00 PM EST
Numbers can be twisted, but the fact the Cavs are at the bottom of all defensive categories cannot be spun in any direction away from awful.
They try for maybe a quarter, but if the other team hits a couple of shots , the Cavs just give up.
Can anyone explain what the Cavs use for defensive schemes? Time after time you see one of the Cavs players rotate off the guy with the hot hand to follow the ball as if the idea of another pass is just not going to happen.
There is also the sense that too many of the Cavs players feel like they are playing defense by going down on the offensive end and chucking up a shot.
Speaking of offense, anyone who has watched basketball for any length of time knows you can't beat a zone defense by shooting from the perimeter and passing the ball from side to side outside the 3 point line. The Cavs movement off the ball couldn't be worse if they were playing in a pit of quick sand.
Just when the team is building a little momentum among the fan base, they lay a huge turd like we saw last night.
Too many players on this roster are as tough as Kleenex.

I don't think anyone will check this thread again but I thought I would post.
Was at the game last night and they had some ticket giveaways during a break. One of those put-a-jersey-on-and-make-a-basket. Tickets were for the OKC game.
What's-her-name who does all the giveaways and stuff at the Q introduced the two contendents. They were a couple from Brazil who flew all the way up to Cleveland for the game because they were huge AV fans.
So Moon Dog rigs the contest and the girl wins the tickets. Then the guy proposes and she says yes.
....
Can someone explain that whole situation for me....i like jorts
