Anyone ever been?

It's basically treasure hunting.


I went for the first time today and felt weird because it was off a busy road, in a ditch, near a park. I looked behind me and there was a Police Officer. I thought it was because I looked weird but they were looking for armed robbery suspects. I went home and never found the cache

eh did it a little, but i have more fun rock climbing, mountaineering etc. more of a rush.

I actually started geocaching when I just happened to find a cache out in a woodland park area I was in. Don't do it often, phone gps sucks outdoors, and I'm too cheap to buy a good handheld gps.

Letterboxing is basically the same thing, but instead of GPS coordinates, it's directions on where to find an item using landmarks of the area as clues. My fiancee is big into it.
