Re: LA cop killing spree
I'm just not following you. Why wouldn't it be him? Why would they kill someone who isn't Dorner, then say it was Dorner? What does it accomplish? Don't beat around the bush, what are you implying happened?
There were people that were held hostage for days that identified him as Dorner.
Two cleaning ladies stumbled upon him in a cabin, one of them escaped, called for help and identified him as Dorner.
There was a guy that was then carjacked by him that identified him as Dorner.
Rangers chased the carjacked vehicle and saw him run into a cabin, they identified him as Dorner.
Someone ran out of the cabin threw a smoke bomb and shot two deputies, one identified the guy that ran out of the cabin as Dorner.
Who else could it have been in there? You conspiracy theorists are so confusing.

Re: LA cop killing spree
There's no conspiracy here besides the ongoing plague that is the LAPD. But, there will come a day probably not as far off as some think, where certain groups of people will stopped being called conspiracy theorists, but instead visionaries, and the people who doubted them so boisterously more naive than wise.

Re: LA cop killing spree
SmknJoe, the same thing pops into my mind from time to time...but it depends on what you consider a conspiracy. Had people known any better, most "conspiracies" would have involved the stock market or governmental entities "arranging" things for their cronies to make money. Stuff that nobody has any idea about until EVERYTHING comes spilling out all at once.
The typical things we call conspiracy theories are nonsense for the very basis Max generally attacks them on...too many people involved with covering it up and too many legitimateexplanations going ignored by the people who want to milk the conspiracy angle.
When you know about a conspiracy, you'll know about everything all at once.
Good examples...Jerry Sandusky and molestations with the Catholic Church, college sports programs paying players, corporations that cook their books, etc, etc.
You generally either know the whole story or nothing at all.

Re: LA cop killing spree
Right. I mean it's kinda why I said "certain groups." Obviously, some of these conspiracists are just too much to take seriously. Even in the face of boatloads of rational explanations, they cling to nonsensical concepts that makes you think they have actually convinced themselves so deeply that there is no turning back.
But, what about JFK? So many years later, and the evidence seems to suggest there was more than one shooter, yet we can only be told we have to wait for a few more decades to hear the real truth. I'm just not so sure that the "ground rules" for a legit conspiracy to be proven true are so clear.
What about aliens and Area 51? This was what, some 40 years ago or whatever now and the govt story still stands as a weather balloon? Come on now. Most of us have seen the shows on Discovery and what not. There's plenty more to it than what we have been told.
I don't believe in the oodles of 9/11 theories. Garbage. Tiresome.
But, I do believe the govt used our soldiers as test dummies for mind altering drugs in order to create some sort of killing machine. But, it's easy hide when the test subjects can be explained away by diagnosis such as PTWD/PTWS.
And, one that I've taken plenty of heat over, is our current govts intentions. There is a storm brewing there. There are bizarre things happening. But, there are so many signs pointing to ill intentions. The lack of trust there builds and we end up seeing some pretty wild accusations/theories that tend to distract us from some concepts that have a little more grip, imo.

The whole soldier experiment thing always makes me want to watch Jacob's Ladder. Love that movie. I've seen it more times than I can count and I still always seem to find something new with it every time I watch it. One of my all timers right there.

Re: LA cop killing spree
before I saw jacobs ladder, while in highschool and doing a lot of dissociative and psychedelic drugs, I was planning on writing a movie that was basically jacobs ladder.
Then I saw that piece of shit and realized how badly it would turn out.
BTW, isnt occam's razor proven wrong by the fact that 'conspiracies' have been proven to have actually happened?Dave_K in moderation in 2013

Re: LA cop killing spree
Government has tested all kinds of shit on soldiers. Not only would that not be a shocker...it's been proven.
Jacob's Ladder was great and terrifying. Lot of bad dreams from that one as a kid.

Re: LA cop killing spree
Of course they have...they're the government.
Edgewood is one of the worst cases of the military coercing and misleading drug guinea pigs:
http://www.cnn.com/2012/03/01/health...-test-subjects
Military has also exposed these guys to all kinds of residues that remain on the ground and in structures for years in camps.
They fuck these kids up and then refuse to cover their meds and treatment later in life. Their medical coverage is a joke. The denial of medical claims is irresponsible and, as always when it comes to the government, inefficient.
