Westbrook is far from selfish. His shot selection can be shoddy, Ill admit that. A torn ACL waiting to happen? Shit, the guy hasnt missed a game since he has been in the league. Probably the most durable player in the NBA. I think I have seen a stat somewhere this season (forget where I saw it) that the Thunder are something like 15-0 when Durant takes under 15-20 shots. Sorry, cant recall exact numbers, but it was a very surprising stat.

This definitely isn't it. People have no problem with Derrick Rose, or even a Mr. Kyrie Irving.

It's because he isn't the best scorer on the team, Durant is and people know he should get most of the shots.
Rose and Kyrie don't have one of the best players in the game to their disposal so they're expected to take over.

Westbrook is an athletic freak...he could probably be an all pro WR ..but he does have bad shot selection...I also think deep down he wants to be the man...kind of like Marbury and KG back in the day...JMO...he needs to improve his jumper and his overall leadership skills but he can play
