I'm pretty sure he will turn down the 3.4 million option and become a free agent.Does anyone know how much we could offer to try and bring him in.I don't know how he feels about the Cavs now but there was a time he wanted to come and play for us.

Sure, we could offer him the full MLE - 5Y and $31M-$35M, depending on where the mid-level salary is set.

And he's the one player where it would make sense to me to do just that. It's a double win: he would immediately become our best 2-guard, and luring him away from the Celtics would hurt our biggest competition. Makes a helluva lot of sense to me.

Posey would fit great on the team, but I wouldn't count on him repeating the "defense" he displayed in the playoffs. I fully expect the refs to wake up at some point and remember there are rules against hand checks and blocking the offensive player.

Looks like we missed our opputunity last year... Ferry slipped. Only one to blame is Mike Brown for saying wait up on Sasha.

It has been stated before ferry wanted posey, but mb said he rather resign sasha. A healthy sasha might suprise us, but i am not holding my breath.

Well maybe M.B. has a little brown stain in his bed. If he is going to tell Ferry what to do, the least he can do is take control over the player he backed. I don't think I've seen a solid defensive effort (outside of his block in the playoffs) from Sasha.
