I haven’t been able to confirm this from my clippers source yet…

…the trade will send Marcus Camby and Channing Frye back to the Knicks along with Deandre Jordan from a trade exception, Jerryd Bayless and Jason Hart.

The Trail Blazers will receive David Lee and Anthony Roberson from the Knicks and Brian Skinner and Ricky Davis from the Clippers.

The Clippers will receive Quentin Richardson, Malik Rose and Sergio Rodriguez. One source has said the trade should be complete by next week. All salaries/.roster spots work out for all teams….

I wouldnt put to much stock in that. WHy would the Blazers take Rick Davis. They are trying to get rid of their jail blazer image. Maybe they just buy him out. Frye already played in NY and I dont know how much they liked him there.

The blazers get screwed on this and they would only have steve blake for pg.

The Knicks would be stupid to trade there best player (post for that matter) for another guard.... one that doesnt even play much on the Blazers.

Bayless will be an absolute stud in D'antonie's offense. The kid could shoot and Frye will also flourish. The Knicks also get younger with the trade and don't hurt their 2010 cap flexibility. I think the move is good.

It doesn't seem like the Knicks want to pay David Lee alot and several teams may want him in the offseason. Why lose him for nothing?

They have to break away from their past and get rid of the players from thomas's shell of a team

The Clippers would be the ones getting screwed IMO. I think the Blazers could waive Davis and only be on the hook for his salary this year (next year is a team option if I remember correctly).

And Blake,Roy,Webster would be there only guards.

Roy and Webster definetly are not point guards and steve blake barely is

Don't forget about Rudy Fernandez at the SG as well. But POR may not be done after this move. Granted, Pritch has said that Conley for Outlaw trade won't happen, but maybe now it might? They also have Raef's expiring contract that they could use to get a PG/SG with. I think they're going to wait and see if Miles ends playing 10 games with the Grizz. If that happens, they may not have the cap space they planned on having this summer or next.

the rumor seems to be bogus from the clippers perspective...the organization values him high(camby was told) and told him to pay no attention to the rumors...IMO kaman is the one gone soon and i wouldnt mind if we trade wally for him
