CAREER HIGHLIGHTS : In 1995, Terrell Brandon finally got his chance to run the Cavalier's when Mark Price went down injured. He didn't look back leading the Cavalier's to 3 straight playoff seasons.

OVERVIEW : Brandon was a crowd favourite in his time in Cleveland. After being picked 11th overall in the 1991 draft, Brandon was made to play the waiting game. Playing behind the all time favourite Cavalier Mark Price represented few oppotunities. He managed to eek out just under 20 minutes per games during his first 3 seasons, proving to be a nice sparkplug off the bench. However whilst Mark Price was there, Terrell was bound to be a backup. His break came in 1995 was Mark Price was injured. Brandon was thrusted into the starting 5 and helped the team make the playoffs. This was a big effort since the team had lost Daugherty and Gerald Wiklins that off season and lost Price for a large chunk.

From that moment on Terrell Brandon didn't look back. Mark Price was moved and starting point guard was finally his. Under Mike Fratello, Brandon lead the Cavalier's to a solid 47/35 record. Very impressive considering the team had no center (sorry Michael Cage), and were an extremely young team relying on such players as Tyrone Hill, Bobby Phills and Chris Mills. Tee Bee would go on and represent the East all stars as a reward to his major step up in his game.

Amazingly Brandon was able to score just under 20ppg in one of the slowest offensive systems ever in the NBA during his 2 year stint as full time starter. Due to lack of talent, Fratello slowed the game down to crawling speed and near soley relied on Brandon for offense. Brandon was amazing from midrange and become consistent with the 3 ball. No team dared foul him as he was deadly from the stripe. The system was partially successful as Terrell led the blue collar Cavalier's into the playoffs. Unfortunately the lack of talent caught up with them and they were continually bundled out of the playoffs in the 1st round easily.

The stature Of Brandon was rising around the league despite the lack of post season success. This led to one of the biggest ever trades in Cavalier history. In a three team trade, Terrell Brandon along with team mate Tyrone Hill were trade to Milwaukee, who forwarded Vin Baker to Seattle. The Cavalier's received disgruntled superstar Shaun Kemp. Kemp was a dominating big man, and it showed Brandon's trade value that the Cavalier's were able to attain such a player.

FACTs : Terrell Brandon was and NBA All Star in 1996 and 1997 games. Both times he was picked by coaches as a reserve. Brandon also was twice NBA player of the week and was chosen in the all 2nd rookie team. Terrell Brandon also received the NBA's Sportmanship Award in season 1996/97.

WHY AS HIGH AS 14 ? : Well he is a two time all star who made the playoffs in all 6 years as a Cavalier. This was quite a feat in his final two season, as our roster wasn't very strong.

WHY NOT HIGHER ? : The gifted point guard was unable to lead his team out of the first round. Defensively he wasn't the strongest players either.

FINAL THOUGHT : This tremendous personality gave so much to the Cavalier's both on and off the court. He kept the frnachise is the playoffs in the post Price, Daugherty, Hot Rod and Nance era. This was a awesome feat considering the major talent downgrade Brandon faced. There are not enough Terrell Brandon's in the NBA world today!

GREAT WORK Karma.

I loved Terrell. Great offensive pg, he had great skills at getting to the hoop and hitting mid range jumpers. I was really disapointed when he was traded to Milwaukee in that 3 team deal with Seattle to land us Shawn Kemp, the supposed Savior.

Terrell Brandon was a beast... I was really disapointed when we traded him.. Yea we got an all star PF but Brandon was a great PG that can score, shoot and pretty much do it all. Always was a big fan of him.

i wasnt that pissed that we got rid of brandon, we were getting the second most exciting player in the game, behind jordan. he was a stud and i believe at times he was the only player who could score. i felt bad for him when he got one sprained ankle after the other. it seemed like everytime i turned on espn he was getting carried off the court by his teammates.
