i read somewhere he wanted to play in europe to sharpen his skills... then i guess he just kept dominating, and now he wants to try the NBA. I may be wrong though

got undrafted then went to europe and became a star there and i guess Spurs tried to sign him but he didn't wanna give up his life in europe so he dEcided to stay because of the fame ad money.I'm sure his contract is up with his team so now he would like to see if he can find the right situation for him. Cavs have the best chance to sign him due to him winning championship after championship and wanting to try the nba and we have his best friend in cleveland hopefully anyways... He might just stay in europe tho..it just depends on Z i guess!

Because the guy is without question the biggest star in European basketball right now.

Sarus looks like a legit player. He's in his prime and it would be awsome to see him and Z play together. I bet you their chemistry meshes well too.

This guy was a huge prospect in college but went into the draft untouched. The Spurs wanted him a few years ago, but that fell through. For some reason this year the guy has a lot of buzz around him, probably because the foreign players in the NBA have been as successful as the high schoolers.

If we get enough Lithuanian guys, maybe they can just speak Lithuanian on the court instead of calling play "3" for example they could just say "high pick and roll for Saraunas and Zydrunas"

Watch it LBsPip! Don't offend our fan base. From what I've read, many overseas fans are more passionate about bball than Americans. They come to see an NBA game and are disappointed with the fan support. I'd love to see the Lithuanian fans (or whoever) jumping up and down (like The Air Up There), chanting Saras! Saras! Lets see we got Lithuania, Brazil, Serbia & Mont (Sasha?)..........America is not better just different.

god i'm so mad at myself. I saw on some foreign board that the Cavs offered him a 3 year 10 million dollar deal. Anyone else see this anywhere?
