2016-2017 Around The NBA

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Harden is a better PG for D'Antoni's offense than Nash. I'll say it. His ability to score as a primary option is a huge boon for the Seven Seconds Or Less offense.

Man, Embiid is legit as fuck.

With Simmons coming back and them getting possibly two more lottery picks, this team can be fucking amazing in 2-3 years.

They need to trade some pieces. There are very redundant in certain spots. But they have established a pretty nice young core, and Brett Brown will show how good of a coach he is when they start maturing.

Real fun team to watch right now.

TBH, Nash could have scored a lot more as well. Especially in terms of shooting as he was an elite shooter. But he often looked to get 'Amare and Marion etc going. He said in an interview couple of seasons ago that the one thing he regrets the most is he didn't look to shoot more often.

True.

But a starting five of:-

Embiid - Ilyasova - Simmons - Some 3&D Guy - New PG (From 2017 Draft) has plenty of potential.

That also makes their bench very strong as well as it would have Noel/Okafor, Saric, Covington, TJ, Bayless etc.

They have the assets and a core which can be a legit contender in few years. Just hope Bryan Colangelo fucks up!

Maybe, but before he was on D'Antoni's Suns, Nash was on teams that tried to get him to shoot. He was good but never Harden good. I think Nash was a better scorer than his numbers, but he was limited by injuries and a lack of athleticism, and consequently not near Harden. Harden is averaging over 10 assists per night, with a worse supporting cast, averaging a lot more points than Nash did.

Yeah, I wasn't exactly disagreeing with you.

My point was that Nash was a better scorer than his numbers suggested.

Bet you Saric starts at the 4 for them next season.

But they need to trade one of Noel or Okafor ASAP...that should be what's next for them. Bet they do it this summer, since they are protecting Embiid with the minutes restrictions and no back-to-backs thing and need the bodies during the season. But that's where they are redundant. You can't really play any of those 3 guys together, which makes it hard to keep all 3.

A disgrace Curry is starting. The media must jack off to this tranny looking scrub.

The tiebreaker is fan vote. If a player wins the fan vote, they pretty much have to finish 4th or worst not in the media/players.

So, assuming Curry held onto to first, only way he doesn't start is if the media/players moved Klay ahead of him.
