Love isn't an elite passer outside of his touchdown passes.

Teodosic is one of the best I have ever seen..
Agreed. I'm going to try that one myself. Found my league pass second team, didn't think it would be the clips but damn that is nice

The rockets took 55 threes last night which was good for 70 % of their field goal attempts! They shot .436 from three which was good for 1.308 points per possession they took a three. That team is going to be extremely good with Paul setting up threes, lops and layups and with how much Harden gets to the freethrow line.

They actually only went 9-23 from 2 point field goal range which is a poultry .782 points per possession when they took a 2 point field goal. This is probably why the game wasn't a blowout.

For a bigman he was. On elbow touches he worked well as a hub in adelman's offense.

He averages around 2.4 assists per36 for his career. He had one outstanding season in 2013-2014 in which he averaged 4.4 assists per game but he was heavily features on So I ahve no offense.
He looks pretty average to me when I watch him pass in the half court. Yeah, he doesn't get featured a lot at all, but 3 years in now and I have yet to see him make an outstanding pass in the half court.

You have Jokic and Green as the cream of the crop. Then you have Griffin,Cousins,Millsap, Pau, Marc, Horford, Mason Plumlee, Diaw.. if you want to sort it by Asissts per 48 then Love isn't even top 20 for big man.

That's right, he isn't being utilized to the fullest, but he is undersized and he gets bothered by length, so having him operate from the high post isn't as productive as taller players such as Jokic and Marc that are able to see over the defense.
If he gets the ball in the low post, he is pretty poor against double teams and is prone to turnovers so he doesn't excel there either unlike Cousins.

Ihen you have the players that get their assists in transition and in the half court after penetration like Horford, Millsap and Green. Love isn't a player that has the ball in his hand in transition and he laos doesn't penetrate and dish often after he gets the ball on the perimeter.

I really hope we see him operate more from the elbows with the intention of passing rather than just look to score.

You should be using assists per 100 because every team plays at a different pace. Love was at 6 assists per 100 with 3.5 turnovers his last year in minny. Thats outstanding for a big man. Draymond Green is anomaly because he put up assists numbers that were elite for a point guard let alone a big man.

I should have put this caveat. Love's passing falls of a cliff when he puts the ball on the floor. Facing up or on the elbow not dribbling hes elite.

Odds that LaVar Ball replaces Luke Walton as Lakers head coach by 2020?

So like I said... Philly made a huge mistaking trading for Fultz and he is going to be a bust in Philly.

I'm almost always right aobut prospects, quote me on that.

I don't think Fultz is going to be big time. I didn't like him much in college. High volume, incredible mediocre efficiency and suspect defense.

Simmons though is absolutely going to be a superstar. His ability to rebound and push the ball up the floor, find people and score at the basket is just going to be murder. They need to stack up on lengthy wings that can shoot around him and just let him operate. If Embiid could stay healthy and they just stacked up on those wings they will be frighting in 2-3 years.

Simmons is going to be huge on offense, but his defense is suspect. Very interested in watching his advanced stats and how his defense is going to affect his overall impact.. very exciting player for sure.

Thing about Fultz that even his mentality looks suspect as fuck.. he doesn't give a shit and he looks to be one of the least marketable 1st round picks I have seen. If he somehow makes it, it's not going to be in Philly with Simmons as their primary ball handler.
Trading for Fultz was a headscratcher to me because I felt like the top 5 never had a consensus top 1 pick and that Sac/Laker pick is so very valuable in itself.

You should watch for Isaac aswell.. guy is going to be goooood.

They need to put him at power forward. I think he can be fine defensively there especially because he's such a good reboudner that will end possessions. Him and embiid up front, the rest of the guy 6'6"-6'8" wing guys that can shoot with Simmons running the point out of the 4 spot. I had Issac right there with Josh Jackson.

I don't think Jackson is going to be all that great defensively.. I actually think his offensive game is going to develop better than his defensive side.
He will have a lot of rookie mistakes because his game makes him prone to make more mistakes, but once he figures it out he has a chance to become good.

He will be good defensively. Probably not right away, but he will be. Isaac will probably be the best defensively because he can also protect the rim.

Eye-popping assist/rebound numbers from Simmons, but the 76ers still got crushed by a Grizzlies team playing without Gasol and Conley...as with Embiid, I'm staying off his bandwagon until he starts turning stats into wins.
