I certainly think there's a tact way to dance around "my coach doesn't think I'm as good". He could say, "I came into a system where Williams was already embedded and had to acclimate myself to the team's system so that when I do play, my presence doesn't hinder the comfort the rest of the team has." That's literally all he could have said. Do I think his answers are completely arrogant? No. Confidence is good. Did he nail the answer? No.
It's also pretty easy to concoct a politically correct statement when posting on a forum Not a jab at you obviously, just saying...not all of these guys are super media savvy at this point.
