He had a pretty good 2010, but that's it. Did injury stop him?

His 2010 season was pretty bad. He just wasn't good. One of those guys who struggled to make the leap from AAA to the MLB.

I don't get him at all, he is hitting but cannot field whatsoever. I mean he was never that great at either, but I would expect way better fielding from him. We may as well keep Diaz since he is a much better hitter. We need to move on from Martinez, hopefully we do!!!

He has been playing in the field and hitting. Now the question whether or not if he gets any pain in the back to back days and if he will get enough at bats before the season starts. Honestly it's the amount of at bats he gets in that will dictate whether or not he starts the season on the team.
