Kelly Oubre is pretty good, and Ariza is flat old. The Wizards are flailing because the dont play hard on defense. The have good personnel, but a shitty attitude. To me that's a coaching front office problem.. They have effectively wasted their best opportunities with Wall and Beal.

Exactly. Oubre is in his fourth year in the league, been getting consistent minutes for years now and he’s still a 7th or 8th man kind of player. Maybe an average 6th man for a middle of the pack team. Never has looked like he had star potential to me. Guys like him are easy to replace — Washington did well to get something for him before they would have had to give him a big contract

I was always a little wary on both guys that got all the hype last year. For as well as Tatum played in the playoffs, he was still just a 14-5 guy in the regular season. He had a very good rookie year, but I think some people expected him to make a leap to superstardom this year, which was unfair. He's still actually improved on last year's numbers.

As for Mitchell, he's a high volume combo guard. His 3 point shooting has slipped from passable to bad, and that's really the only difference between last year and this year. To truly be a star, he needs to either up the efficiency, or turn his 3.7 assists into 8+.

Something just seems off with GS this year. Maybe they are bored but i dont know. I think their depth absolutely sucks. They arent destroying teams like in years past.
