Especially with Hayward out. Teams are going to be able to key in on him, and when things don't go well he's going to get the blame. There was no ball movement offense going on today.
Kyrie got all of his assists passing out of double and triple teams to wide open guys. Basic read and react stuff.
Aside from the three point barrage, Kyrie was quiet and timid offensively. Was not attacking. Essentially neutered by the offense.
Props for making the right pass, but the whole "side to side, flow, ball movement" offense Stevens gets so much credit for just didn't exist. There didn't even score 100 points and we turned the ball over 20+ times. That's abysmal offense. Absolutely abysmal.
Kyrie's raw numbers are going to be better by default but I think his impact is going to be even worse. He's going to miss all the attention Bron drew.
