Do Not Sell My Personal Information
There was no ball movement offense going on today.

Kyrie got all of his assists passing out of double and triple teams to wide open guys. Basic read and react stuff.

Aside from the three point barrage, Kyrie was quiet and timid offensively. Was not attacking. Essentially neutered by the offense.

Props for making the right pass, but the whole "side to side, flow, ball movement" offense Stevens gets so much credit for just didn't exist. There didn't even score 100 points and we turned the ball over 20+ times. That's abysmal offense. Absolutely abysmal.

Kyrie's raw numbers are going to be better by default but I think his impact is going to be even worse. He's going to miss all the attention Bron drew.
Especially with Hayward out. Teams are going to be able to key in on him, and when things don't go well he's going to get the blame.

I really think they're in danger of being basically a .500 team, maybe worse with more injuries.

They're not going to get this level of play from 1st/2nd year guys all year. They'll have good and bad games. But it will be inconsistent.

Kyrie still got abused badly on every defensive possession. Still dies on every screen....Rose attacked at will even with no space in the fourth and got to the rim/got FT's. Rose's off-ball cut on the final play fooled Horford and essentially collapsed the D off of Love to set up the game clincher.

Going to be a very challenging year for him and the Boston media wont let him off the hook even without Hayward...

How do we consistently blow big leads. There must be a consistent factor. The bench? I mean, why was there lineups with LBJ, Wade, and Love all off the floor at the same time?

I'm not trying to say there isn't slack for being the first game, but we did some things that just didn't make any sense. And against the less talented teams, which is most of the league, we will probably be able to get away with many bad habits. So we need to hold ourselves to a higher standard.

Sloppy ugly nasty turnover after turnover after turnover.

Literally. Gave the ball away. That's it. That was the problem tonight.

I could see them being a playoff team just because the East is so bad, but they're going to need some luck. Kyrie's going to have to rely a lot on the young guys. He wanted to be the man... Well he got his wish. We'll see if his body can handle the workload.

His knee was rickety down the stretch last year after playing the olympics and then so many minutes for us...

We'll see how those screws hold up..

A lot depends on good Brown and Tatum are and will be. If Brown is as good as he was tonight, they might be ok to make the playoffs.

For sure. I just feel like there's going to be the inevitable up and downs young guys go through. But maybe Brown is further along. We'll see how they respond to being relied on so much night in and night out.

Ultimately think they will find a way to make the playoffs. Horford is a good regular season player and Smart looks like he's playing himself into a 15-20 million dollar contract as well.

Tatum looks pretty good for a 19 year old.. Reminds me of the Raptors McGrady from the late 90’s..

But Jaylen Brown was just fantastic..

They were without Morris as well. They have some good players but are going to be relying on two really young guys to play major minutes. Hayward was also their best defender. That's going to be more challenging for them to replace IMO. Hard to ask Brown and/or Tatum to guard the best scorer night in and night out.

Classy. Also, change that damn quote...why would you be displaying a quote that puts down Cleveland?

Bossy.

No and no and fuck Boston, Tampa and your dad. Especially your dad. Cavs win, refs swallowed their whistles out of pity.

If you don't get a joke and have a thin-skin, the internet is going to be rough on you. LeBron showed what he always shows: compassion for teammates as well as opponents. The fact Kyrie always thought that's "sonning" was a bag of bullshit in my book. Kyrie, meanwhile, was sulking fifteen feet away.

If anyone needs a lesson on class, Kyrie is going to need your contact info.

Are you talking about the three Love hit? Kyrie was guarding Crowder on the strong side. It was Horford who sucked in on the Rose cut, and Tatum who got caught ball watching leaving Love open.

Up 4 with 40 seconds, he should be on the floor...he is a decent defender, no? Probably our best PG defender too.

Terrible foul by him on the inbounds play, but Lue can't play for Shumpert. He also isn't throwing lazy passes for 17 turnovers.

A lot to clean up. Why anyone figured we'd be a well oiled machine tonight, coaching included, is besides me. Just be happy we put correctable mistakes on tape and came out with a win in the process.
Shump hasnt been a plus defender since 2015. He lives off of that reputation. Last year he was a horrible defender, while JR was 2nd or 3rd best on the team to lebron and maybe Love.

No excuse that shump was playing over JR
