I am convinced that Kyle Korver has done more for LeBron’s shooting mechanics than any “shooting coach” LeBron has had in his entire career. In fact some of those other coaches may have made his shot worse. (Looking at you, D. Jones)

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that as soon as Korver came on board, everybody’s shooting mechanics improved, everybody’s free-throw form got noticeably better.

It's just general accounting knowledge.

Oh - so you just made it up then.

That isn't general accounting knowledge at all. It is accounting knowledge specific to the Cavs. Some business have actual operating losses, some don't. The idea that every business "really" earns a profit, and that any claimed losses are fake, is held only by people who actually don't know anything about business.

You actually went even further than that, and claimed that he has never had to spend any money out of his own pocket at any point. But that's almost impossible - teams have all sorts of expenses during the offseason when they aren't generating any significant income, so owners have to provide operating capital.

So, where your specific proof that this particular business, the Cavs, always had revenues that exceed expenses?

I literally said 3 or so posts ago that IF the Cavs had losses year after year, then Dan might have to actually pay out of pocket. Did you miss that?

I said it wasn't LIKELY. I have no clue whether or not that's true. In general, the NBA's revenue has been growing year after year.

What's your problem? How about adding some actual data yourself. I'm not making any extreme statements.

LeBron is finishing fucking everything near the rim (80%) and he's shooting lights out (.427 from 3)

It's a special year so far.

So Dan Gilbert is poorer than he was when he bought the Cavs? Haha

It's a special year so far.

Combination of the spacing created by all the shooters and the league playing copycat makes the lane a freakin layup line for him.
Add in his signature becoming that left wing 3 and it's over.

What's worked against him traditionally and I don't count the Warriors he had his way with them is an elite all NBA wing defender with a mobile shotblocker (Marion/Chandler, Allen+Pierce/Garnett, Bowen/Duncan). Just don't see that in his way nowadays and man even if those guys were around Frye and Love would just pull them out of the lane

The evolution of his game particularly on post up (moves, counter-moves) has made him impossible to guard. Small guys like JJ Barea would guard him in the post and Kidd would give LeBron space to shoot which was weak point for him at the time, causing LeBron to attack Kidd head on, resulting in turnovers with quick handed defenders (Kidd, Marion) and Chandler waiting under the basket. That 2011 finals can't be explained properly, but 2017 LeBron sweeps that Dallas team w/ Wade and Bosh simply due to his improved post game and shooting. He can't blow by smaller defenders or split the double with ease anymore but he is playing basketball on a much higher plane than he has before.

That maybe the worst shot I've ever seen Lebron take: wtf was that. I get it he's shooting well and a 3 makes it a 4 point game but damn 5 feet behind the line and a miss gives Charlotte plenty of time to get a good shot

Loving brons play right now, cannot wait for his partnership with i.t

Watching Lebron defend Kemba at the end of last nights game got me thinking. Lebron knows that this whole season will at some point come to him defending Kyrie for a trip to the Finals and he’s already practicing for that moment. What a badass.
