Let it all out. The Cavaliers Rant Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yeah I don't really want to get in a Lue vs Blatt debate, but I agree that Kevin Love's attitude is the biggest change and not the coaching. Maybe Kevin respects Lue more, I am sure he does. Maybe Lue knows how to talk to him better. Either way, it has been Love's new commitment to D and his smarter play ie moving to open spots on the floor that have helped him the most.

Not to be picky but isn't motivation and comfort on the floor part of coaching. One could say it's not related to playcalling but it is related to the fighter pilot's err coach's job

1. I can't believe we are having this conversation.

2. The Kevin Love aspect is one that is so huge its unbelievable. The way Lue has integrated Love is incredible. And that was a huge mistake by Blatt.

3. Cavs are resting. They aren't switching on D and are not attacking switches on offense. They are in cruise mode.

4. People must think it's easy integrating 2-3 new rotation players plus 2 starters that were out for weeks or months.

5. Lue probably doesn't have the basketball mind that Blatt has. But he had the NBA experience, respect of vets, and of others around the league. Those make a big difference. And why he is the better coach for the Cavs.

6. Had LBJ not come back and Cavs didn't go after Love. I think Blatt would have been the perfect coach for an 7th-8th seed push in the East. Which obviously was the plan when they first hired him.

I think this is right. This years Cavs have taken screwing around in the regular season to a new level. There have been more regular season injuries this year and players cycling in, but most of their defensive issues come back to a lack of effort. The less-talented Lebron teams of the 2000s, for example, would've never lost a game to the AD-less Pelicans, or to Sac at home, or twice in 3 days to this year's Heat team.

The other thing Lue brings, that the players have noted, is a calmness in-game as well as a willingness to give players the business in a way that they respond to it.

Pathetic. This team takes no pride at all in its defense. Suggesting this team has an on switch is hilarious. Are on switch is whenever we get lucky and some scrub team isn't hitting their shots one night.

I didn't know that NBA League Pass was part of my Verizon package UNTIL TODAY.

I think all of us have seen enough this season to realistically rank the Cavs as the third best team...

IN THE EAST.

Because as of right now, both Boston and Washington WILL beat this team in a seven game series.

Why hasnt anyone mentioned the refs? Literally every time the game was within 5, the Wizards would drive to the hole and the foul would only be called after the ball rolled around and rimmed out 3 seconds later. Ill never understand why old, fat, bald idiots referee such a fast paced game.

Reffing was bad for both teams.
