But yes...Kidd was a terrible shooter when he came into the league, but he was a tremendous facilitator. Much better than Lonzo. Which is an insult to nobody, considering he was one of the greatest of all time.

Yeah if Lonzo was ACTUALLY shooting those percentages maybe there wouldn’t be so many vultures out but he is well short of both laughably

Right. It isn't just that Lonzo can't shoot. It's that he's not even engaged. Like he's not driving, dishing, creating, etc. He's just standing around most of the time. Really weird.

The other thing about Jason Kidd is that if he came into the league in 2017, he would have never been considered as great of a player as he was. Hard to compare eras, and yes, late 90's early 2000's was a tottally different era of basketball.

Though I don't think Lonzo has the ability to penetrate the core of the defense the way Kidd did(strength, first step, handles all on a diff. level for Kidd)

The league just requires a higher overall skill level today. You need to be able to score and preferably shoot if you're a point guard. Just the way things are.
