Read the spoilers. My guesswork was about 70% accurate. Got the order mixed up on one plot-line, but not bad.

My other hunch about the Soul Stone was also correct. @gourimoko

Well, you read the spoilers, and I trust your judgement... Does it sound good?

Yes. It is everything any comic fan wants for an adaptation of the Infinity Gauntlet saga.

I'm just hoping the addition of Captain Marvel next year prior to Infinity War II means we'll get to see the likes of Eternity, Galactus, and Celestials battling Thanos like in the original.

There's no adaptation worth a shit that leaves out key characters.

Noo, I've gotta wait another 3 years to see HIM.

Fuck now I’m more hyped

Comic book guys, I finished Infinity Gauntlet and holy shit was it good. Quick question, why does Thor turn into some random dude when he doesn’t have his hammer? I also noticed he said well I’m not the original. Did the original die? Or did they make some changes for the MCU?

If you recall in the first movie, Odin sends Thor to Earth to learn not to be a douche. Well, in the comics this was a more extended process where Odin created an unassuming (and crippled) host body for Thor named Donald Blake. He was stripped of his memories, and learned humility while living as Blake for 10 years.

Then he went on vacation to Norway, found the hammer and regained his powers as Thor, as he was once again worthy of them.

Watched Thor and the first Cap.

Subsequent MCU films have made these better in retrospect. They would receive higher marks if released now.

Watched the first Cap a few times in the last year or so. Definitely underrated.

IMO that movie is what really kicked them into a higher gear. Hulk & Thor 1 are just ok movies. If the rest of the franchise wasnt so fantastic, they would probably not be held to as high of a standard. The Iron Man series is solid, but RDJ takes it to the next level.

When Cap came out, it made people believe that these movies could be beyond comic book movies. Greater details & more depth. After that came out the whole franchise got dramatically better. IM3 was the only meh movie after that. Thor 2 was infinitely better than 1, and everything else just kept getting better and better.

For non comic book fans, rattle off the Top 5 superheroes and more than likely name Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Xmen & Spiderman.....non of which the MCU owned until recently nor had the full rights to. They made the casuals care about Thor, Iron Man, Hulk & Captain America. They then had the balls to give Antman, Black Panther,Dr Strange & GOTG movies....and they keep killing it.

I have zero doubts they wont be successful. Its nice to see the result of having passionate people build an eco-system around a cast of charachters they care about.

Slightly off topic, but Vincent D'Onofrio as the Kingpin was beyond fantastic in the Daredevil series.

Just some incredible scenes with him. The one in Season 2 (you know what I'm talking about) gave me chills.
