I got an opportunity to talk to an NBA player in during the season in 15 about basketball and told him about how awesome Delly was, and he literally scoffed in my face.

After Kyrie got hurt in Atlanta and Delly started killing it he told me I was right and he was on the Delly bandwagon. It was hilarious.


I was really worried he was washed coming back here, now I am sorry we didn't try to rescue him sooner. Totally could have had him at the deadline last year .

My favourite play of the night was on the Knicks final possession, Delly was guarding the inbounder (Mudiay I believe) and at the same time flashing to all the cutters behind him. He ended up selling out to stop the ball from getting to Hardaway Jr which resulted in Mudiay to panic and make a turnover.

You can just see his BBIQ from that one possession there. Delly just has a great feel on offense and defense.

Fuck I feel like one proud Aussie right about now haha

Also, if you guys ever want to sit good at a game for cheap in a brand new arena, my god, 10 rows back, center court for $100/ea.

Man, it really seems like it is our belief in him that fuels him. I honestly didn't expect him to play so well. Is it possible he plays worse in a structured offense? Maybe he didn't have the chemistry with Lebron. It is just hard to watch him and not think he could help you even for a couple of minutes at the end of quarters or something. The way he directs offense and defense, it is going to help all the young guys a lot. I hope he makes friends with Cedi and gets him out of his funk.

Maybe I am speaking too soon. Maybe he falls off a cliff immediately.

One other thing, he played under 20 min last game. Did anyone see Drew's postgame interview? he did confirm that Delly is on a minutes restriction due to the ankle.

Sexton looked very tired in the 4th quarter. He was really puffing. I will be curious how much time neither of them is on the floor. It might be awhile before we see Sexton and Delly on the floor together due to the restriction.
