If I remember right Jason Kidd was the one who really wanted him. Then they got Brogdon and traded for Bledsoe. Giannis handles the ball alot too. Outside of Bledsoe, they are a team really built on length and height for each position. They got Divincenzo and Connaughton this year. I think Delly with his injuries just became the odd man out.

Honestly I dont know if lbj would have coasted as much on defense with delly out there cause he had been to war with delly and watched delly nearly kill himself trying to win in the finals.

In my mind losing delly sent a ripple effect through the whole team and org. That led us to where we are now.

I got an opportunity to talk to an NBA player in during the season in 15 about basketball and told him about how awesome Delly was, and he literally scoffed in my face.

After Kyrie got hurt in Atlanta and Delly started killing it he told me I was right and he was on the Delly bandwagon. It was hilarious.


I was really worried he was washed coming back here, now I am sorry we didn't try to rescue him sooner. Totally could have had him at the deadline last year .
