The Gold is Golder: New uniforms to come?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Alternate uniforms for Minnesota. Holy crap if some of you guys thought ours were bad....
Nike... What are you guys doing?
What is this? Is this an NBA uniform?

TWolves definitely blew it. I wouldn't mind a bright green jersey personally, but the whole design sucks. Did they design the stripes to fit the ad in there? Why so little green on the main jerseys? Where are the trees or ANY connection to their past? Why won't they ever say Timber? Why do they look like the Wizards? Why?

I stand by my previous statement that this is completely a function of the ownership groups being too involved.

If you look at all the uniform stuff Nike produces for college or national teams, who give them more free reign, you can tell someone is injecting their opinion who has no design sense.

Teams that get "bad" jerseys is COMPLETELY a function of ownership meddling in the design process in my opinion.

Also, the Wolves stuff posted previously isn't official.

I don't like them but the official ones aren't as horrible.

Agreed. They don't look nearly as bad as the mockups. The stripes don't continue around onto the back nameplate and that really helps. They're different, for sure, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. I'll reserve judgment until I see them in a game.

JESUS CHRIST, WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THAT FONT?

Phoenix jayhawks

Better than anything they've had in over a decade, but the barkley uniforms should be permanent in Phoenix

I have a friend who's father worked on the 1992 Suns uniform design and they were ripped to pieces for that design.. Many prefer the Nash/Stoudemire travesty and those drew rave reviews when they hit the shelves.

Same thing happened with the 1995 big hawk Hawks jersey and I think those along with the 93-95 uniforms were amazing.

I agree. The argument was against the basketball and print on the front.

That was right around the era when the Sixers did the Stars and the precursor to the Rockets cartoonish jersey and the Sonics mid 90's jersey and Cavs jerseys and the Raptors and Hawks and Grizzlies and teal Pistons and Jazz mountains etc...

The Nuggets really kinda started it in the 80's but the prints on the jerseys as opposed to just the team names or cities was actually quite frowned upon throughout the 90's... Which is why teams went back to classic looks...

I thought the Nash era was a good look but if they wanted to pick one look and stick with it forever, they should base it on the 90s jerseys.

With these newest jerseys the NBA is going to look very plain for a few years, a far cry from the 90s for sure. A lot of teams have gone classic or minimalist, but I feel like now we are getting even less unique designs.
