Paul George Willing To Commit Long-Term To Cavs If LeBron Stays
Paul George is open to re-signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers if he's traded there this offseason and LeBron James chooses to remain there next summer.
While George has preferred to end up with the Los Angeles Lakers, he is prudent enough to not leave an opportunity to compete for a title with the Cavaliers. The Cavaliers are attempting to come up with a three-way trade scenario involving Kevin Love that results in a trade for George.
George also feels the same way if he's traded to the Boston Celtics or San Antonio Spurs.
The Lakers have limited assets to trade to the Indiana Pacers for George even with the commitment that he'll re-sign.
I'm skeptical because of Isaiah Thomas recruiting Blake Griffin and because of this saying the opposite, that George wouldn't commit beyond one season with the Spurs:

If George were agreeable to extensions with Spurs and Celtics right now, then wouldn't there be more news on this? And what's in it for George to say that? With the Cavs, George has an interest in Lebron staying should he go to Cavs. But for the other teams, it increases the bidding war and makes the winning bid team have to give more assets to Indy. It also costs George money. So I'm skeptical George announced he will commit to more than one year should Boston or San Antonio trade for him, and wonder if the writer misspoke.
