Theoretically Ante Zizic

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
someday I'd like to read a Huber post that ventures into a second sentence.

He moves very well into open spaces (roll timing) which is great for a LeBron big. TT and Love also know how to pass to that kind of target. Quick rebounder and has great control over contact shots. If he can stay on court defensively, he will do great.
TT and Rose will hopefully provide bench players with some structure on offense and we will be able to see them (bench) improve (hopefully Cedi).
To add, to me, for euro big to go for a lot of dunks (plus other skills of course) is a good sign he will do well in the NBA. Soft and skilled tend to do a lot worse (maybe not top of the top prospects).
But, I generally hate bigs that act fancy with layups when dunk opportunity is there.

Who's more game ready today? Tavares or Zizic?

I can't imagine both being on the roster the majority of the season.

Insult humor? Good attempt, but someday I'd like to read a Huber post that ventures into a second sentence. I've been looking forward to it for some time now.

And the subject is Ante Zizic... The welcoming of Ante Zizic...

I am watching a fight between Randolph Keys and Sir'Dom Pointer?

Probably the two greatest small forwards in the history of the Cavaliers. How exciting.

Easilly Zizic. The Israel Basketball Leauge is no joke and one of the best Leauges in the world.. Istanbul is a top notch club and he played in Euroleauge. Thats no NBA competition but i would say he can play

I think Zizic because he is already a good rebounder, which usually translates. His feet are obviously a lot faster, so there will not be so many lineups that he can't handle. Edy can't play against any team that has smaller centers, which is most of the league now.

Zizic is supposed to have real offensive upside, whereas Edy doesn't.

Tavares has his moments because he is so massive. But practically, I doubt he ever becomes a consistent rotation player in the NBA. He's just too slow and awkward.

Figured I'd compare his Adriatic League numbers at 19/20 with some other bigs who recently came over to the NBA at around the same age.

Zizic: 31.5 PER, 20.6% TRB%, 73.4% TS%, 10% AST%, 4.4% BLK%, 25.8% USG%

Nurkic: 34.5 PER, 21.5% TRB%, 61.2% TS%, 9.8 AST%, 6.1 BLK%, 32.9% USG%

Jokic: 24 PER, 16.9% TRB%, 58.5% TS%, 20.3% AST%, 2.8% BLK%, 22.7% USG%

Lauvergne: 16 PER, 15.6% TRB%, 57.2% TS%, 8.6% AST%, 1.2% BLK%, 20.1% USG%

So it would appear he is more Nurkic than Jokic.

SIAP here are the highlights from the summer league:

Thanks for that. that was great. A couple of takeaways for me

-not as much of a black hole as suggested. He had some nice assists and kick outs there very surprising. He made the bounce pass to the cutter that TT only learned this past year.

-His awareness on the court seems better than I thought.

-I prefer rule of verticality to the block because it more often keeps the ball in play and keeps your rim protector out of foul trouble. He looked great for a 20 year old at this

-His motor is fantastic. I thin he could get minutes if he can play with that energy.

-his finishing for a guy that size is actually something special IMO. This could be the 2008-2010 Andy that Lebron has been missing in pick and roll.

His age is my biggest concern because how much time do we have to let him grow?

Very few bigs are going to pass like Jokic. I'd be extremely happy with something like 15-17 boards per 100, some deterrent at the rim and very efficient but low volume scoring. I'm not quite sure he has Nurkic scoring ability, but I have a good feeling on him becoming a solid rotation player.

Watching those highlights the kid looks to have some ability. Good awareness and touch. Maybe a little attitude too. Lets give him some run in the pre season if possible, see what we got.

bet he doesn't play at all this season
