I think this is the worst package we had seen. Nets offered talent/took back salary and Rockets or Cavs would've meant tons of cap space, picks, and a young prospect or 2, this trade yields nothing great really, and more fat in terms of Aaron Afflalo's contract..

A four-team trade that would send Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers is complete, multiple sources told ESPN on Thursday night.

A source with direct knowledge of the talks told ESPN.com's Marc Stein the Lakers will receive Howard, the Denver Nuggets will acquire Andre Iguodala, the 76ers will receive Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, and the Magic will get Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic and one protected future first-round pick from each of the other three teams.

i just realized these clowns are trading jrich for al harrington WTF. the dont dumb salary they just added he has 3yrs 7mill left so they didnt shed contracts wont be bad enough to get high picks and keep turk

Man, Hennigan should be fired for this deal...the only thing I suspect is that none of the other deals, even those with Houston, got very far, which leads to to believe that there really wasn't much interest from either Houston or Cleveland.

Orl gets shit in this deal. Harkless, 3 future firsts, and Aaron Afflalo (which I'm pretty sure is on a worse contract than JRich in terms of money owed). Give someone else a franchise and take the Magic out of Disney World. What a horrible way to mismanage your trade possibilitiy. They didn't get good picks, star players, or cap releif.

Both DH12 and Bynum will be available next summer. I'd offer a max and hope our core is more attractive.

I knew this was going to happen. This is why Stern blocking the CP3 trade actually helped the Lakers.

If someone could explain to me why ORL did this deal, I'd greatly appreciate it. I can't fucking figure it out. Makes NO sense for them. They don't get good young talent on reasonable contracts. They don't dump bad contracts. They don't get good picks.

The fuck am I missing?

Gasol is not even going to the Magic. What a Horrible Horrible Horrible trade for the Magic. AV/prospect plus picks is a universe better than that package. Idiotic move.

Orlando could have got better straight up with the Nets then what they got from this 4 team trade. Wow Orlando is dumb. I know what they are trying to do, collect assets and clear cap blah blah blah, but for Dwight Howard you better get one or two solid freakin players too. Why else would you work a 4 team trade. For Arron Afflalo?

That's not a good tank, I'm sorry. The trade machine had the Magic only down 5 wins (with Jrue Holliday included for salary purposes). Our trade that could have gone down theoretically had the Magic down almost 20 wins.
