I watched TNA pretty religiously in high school. Haven't kept up the last two years. Can't believe Sting is still around, I thought he was just a publicity stunt that would be phased out. I've never heard of this Bully Ray guy. Last I was watching was when Hardy was just getting into it.
AJ Styles was the reason I enjoyed it so much. I just thought TNA was a much more athletic version of professional wrestling rather than the fake slugging stuff that I always remembered in the WWE. Is TNA worth watching anymore?
Bully Ray is Bubba Ray Dudley. He's drawing a lot of heat related to him being the president of the aces and eights (biker gang invasion stable).
Sting has went on record to say he's stuck around because TNA is reminding him of the early WCW days.
The tag team division is better then WWE and they have the X division. The knockouts division is better then WWE's diva division as well. They got rid of the 6 sided ring, which I think hurt the x division, but it's still enjoyable to watch. Petey Williams and Chris Saban just made their return.
I tune in every now and then, but I don't watch it religiously like I do Monday night Raw (excluding football season). I'd say if you're a big wrestling fan, who enjoyed WCW then yes. They're pushing the aces and eights like they did the NWO. Plus they didn't go PG. They don't have the same star power, but Bully Ray and Devon Dudley have been great. Along with Mr. Anderson, who is now known as asshole. The most annoying parts of it is Hulk Hogan and Sting seem to take a lot of the spotlight. While Kurt Angle, has turned into their resident jobber this year despite having the skill to still compete at a high level. Angle has stated that TNA saved his career from injury because it's a less tedious schedule. They also do have Jeff Hardy as you said, who they push like crazy because of his merchandise sales.
One of the bigger things is Impact is on the road now and will be coming to Cleveland soon. OVW is now their developmental territory, since WWE left it for Florida. They seem to have a higher turn over with their roster. Styles, Storm, and Roode are still around. Abyss is still around as well, under his real name of Joseph Parks. (who's supposedly his brother) They also have Austin Aeris now. They don't seem to have a lot of young up and comers. Their big young talent is Magnus and that is about it.
Here's the basic jist on the big storyline they have going now.
