The TNA World Tag Team Titles - Elimination Match
Chavo & Hernandez (C's) Vs. Bad Influence Vs. Dirty Heels Vs. James Storm & Gunner

X Division Championship
Kenny King (C) Vs. Suicide Vs. Chris Sabin

Kurt Angle Vs. AJ Styles

What's your predictions for the rest of the matches/whats going to happen?

I for one think AJ Styles is probably going to turn heel.

i have no idea what any of this is

Was wrestling just like.. exponentially bigger in the late 90's? Because I never hear about thsi anymore.. Then again, I dont have cable and Im not exactly in the demographic of this stuff. But I would like to know..

I watched TNA pretty religiously in high school. Haven't kept up the last two years. Can't believe Sting is still around, I thought he was just a publicity stunt that would be phased out. I've never heard of this Bully Ray guy. Last I was watching was when Hardy was just getting into it.

AJ Styles was the reason I enjoyed it so much. I just thought TNA was a much more athletic version of professional wrestling rather than the fake slugging stuff that I always remembered in the WWE. Is TNA worth watching anymore?

I thought Sting was a singer?

Wtf is going on around here?

Bully Ray is Bubba Ray Dudley. He's drawing a lot of heat related to him being the president of the aces and eights (biker gang invasion stable).

Sting has went on record to say he's stuck around because TNA is reminding him of the early WCW days.

The tag team division is better then WWE and they have the X division. The knockouts division is better then WWE's diva division as well. They got rid of the 6 sided ring, which I think hurt the x division, but it's still enjoyable to watch. Petey Williams and Chris Saban just made their return.

I tune in every now and then, but I don't watch it religiously like I do Monday night Raw (excluding football season). I'd say if you're a big wrestling fan, who enjoyed WCW then yes. They're pushing the aces and eights like they did the NWO. Plus they didn't go PG. They don't have the same star power, but Bully Ray and Devon Dudley have been great. Along with Mr. Anderson, who is now known as asshole. The most annoying parts of it is Hulk Hogan and Sting seem to take a lot of the spotlight. While Kurt Angle, has turned into their resident jobber this year despite having the skill to still compete at a high level. Angle has stated that TNA saved his career from injury because it's a less tedious schedule. They also do have Jeff Hardy as you said, who they push like crazy because of his merchandise sales.

One of the bigger things is Impact is on the road now and will be coming to Cleveland soon. OVW is now their developmental territory, since WWE left it for Florida. They seem to have a higher turn over with their roster. Styles, Storm, and Roode are still around. Abyss is still around as well, under his real name of Joseph Parks. (who's supposedly his brother) They also have Austin Aeris now. They don't seem to have a lot of young up and comers. Their big young talent is Magnus and that is about it.

Here's the basic jist on the big storyline they have going now.

Total Nonstop Action

How is Sting even still alive

Not sure I follow. I'm pretty sure he's about as old as the Undertaker. He came up with the Ultimate Warrior.

Slammiversary? Is that what people call it these days? Is it because people "sex" and "slam" on their anniversaries so they just merged the two words?

Absolutely terrible.

Much like TNA and WWE television programming.

Jesus your posts are just getting worse and worse :chuckles:

Not in reference to the wrestling comment, I don't give a shit about that. That joke was just so bad though.

The 6 sided ring was one of my favorite things. Bummer.

I can only go up from here! The sky is the limit.

If you don't like wrestling then why post in the thread? A lot of chicks like wrestling, maybe if you did, you could have been laid by now.

I agree, the six sided ring is what made the x division great. They could just do so much more with 6 ring posts. I loved the king of the mountain match. Now they reduced it to steel cage matches and an occasional full metal mayhem (TLC).

They acquired some guys from WWE, but none that aren't passed the mid card at the WWE level.

1. Mike Knox
2. D'Lo Brown (who actually just wrestled on impact for the first time in years)
3. Luke Gallow
4. Mr. Kennedy (now Mr. Anderson/Asshole)
