Yeah cause it's Danny Ferry's fault the Kings took a trade that offered them 4M more in expiring contracts then the Cavs could offer.

90% of trades made in today NBA are all about saving one team as much $ as possible.

Kings think enough of Udrih (who we possibly could have got relatively cheap) to give away Bibby

Didn't have what it took to get Bibby (which basically consisted of expiring crap)

Cash does not count against the cap, we couldnt have matched this offer... Whelps, some people will be saying I told you so next season when we make a blockbuster trade:D

Newble, Shannon, Gooden for Bibby??? WTF? Gooden is 1000 times better than SHelden.

6.4+3.4+1.1= 11 Million roughly * 1.25=13.75 Million Bibby makes 13.5 million, this trade could have worked.

It isnt about gooden being better isht, its about the kings getting more salary relief than we could provide. How many times does this have to be said..sheesh!

They have no low post threat, Gooden could have provided that an avg. 18 and 10 for them. Who are they gonna sign with that extra 4 mill??? No one?

Bibby 'unlikely' to opt out with Kings

The original plan was for Mike Bibby to opt out of his contract at this season's end and sign a longer deal with the Sacramento Kings, or go elsewhere. But that sure bet was before the team slumped and Bibby slumped and the market began to read more like a gamble.
"I called (the Kings) as a courtesy, and we had a candid conversation about it," Bibby's agent, David Falk, said about the possibility of Bibby opting out of his contract. "I just told them that it had been our expectation that we would exercise the out. But right now, unless something happens, it's unlikely that we would opt out. The risk is too great."

Yeah because guys decline 14.5M dollar options to jump into a FA market where no one has any money to spend all the time....
