Yeah, I don't know what kind of deal he signed, but I think the whole reason he came here anyways was to boost his profile covering a team like the Cavs. Hopefully he has been searching for employment elsewhere.

The PD's coverage this year has been pretty brutal across the board. Vardon should definitely be reassigned following the year, along with Fedor (I bet they need someone to write about The Bachelor/ette week to week :chuckle:). They should just poach Lloyd or our boy @Chris Parker and call it a day.

And this was me responding to you both - my second tweet at him today expressing my disgust at him giving air time to that troll from Miami. It's utterly unacceptable that he is a "local" writer.


And btw the phrasing of my tweet was no an accident - "real cavs fans".
 
I like that we are re-establishing rivalries, through the playoffs. I look forward to punching the Celtics, Bulls, and Hawks in the mouth next year, too. All over-hyped teams full of pu$$ies.

Cavs-Bulls w/ be a war w/ respect on both sides. Cavs-Hawks won't be. Cavs-Celtics will be like Cavs-Wizards when it was LBron and Agent Zero going at each other, w/ Deshawn Stevenson as the sideshow.

Don't know about the Bulls engendering respect.
1) Not sure their next coach will be as good as Thibs.
2) Unless they trade for LMA, their front court is old and getting older.
3) Not sure that Rose and Butler work that well together.
4) Not sure Rose, in his present form, is the first- or second-best player on a championship contender.
5) Lots of toolbags on that team that are hard to respect. Dunleavy. Gibson. Noah. Brooks. A team full of guys who talk the talk, without being able to walk the walk. We will shit on them for years to come.

LBJ's drama made for good entertainment and kept the game tight but ATL minus Korver and Horford (and Sefalosha) isn't a good team. The game shouldn't have been close.
 
We've been talking about how both physically tough and, especially, mentally tough these Cavs are. Aside from that, these Cavs are also the smartest/highest basketball IQ Cavs team I can remember. (We might argue that the "team of the 90s" is another.)

They understand the game well, pass well, and don't make many mental miscues (Bron's TOs aside). I might even say that Kyrie has a bit of catching up with his teammates in this department (as when he has blinders on in his forays to the rim).

Really appreciate this aspect of the current Cavs.

Still hate the idea, bad form all around, and we are not out of the ECF yet and didn't play one game in the finals, just walk away.
