ECF: Cavs 4 - Hawks 0

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think Batard is French for bastard. At least that is what my remedial French teacher used to keep calling me. She didn't like me.

You got it right. You should have punched her in the face for insulting you.

Le batard means "the bastard" in french.

I am not going to miss these press conferences with Atlanta's coach. I almost want them to win a game so he feels better. Almost.
I would guess he was looking like he wanted to blow up the entire city of Cleveland starting with the press box..looked like he had a AKA47 lodged deep within his jaws..

Frankly, I don't want them to win any games. Their coach is being exposed, and it would be nice if some of the talking heads actually pointed that out. At this point, he is a regular season coach that got a lot of wins by running a system that worked great in the regular season. But, now in the playoffs, teams have time to prepare for his system and he doesn't seem to know how to adjust to that. It is also why Washington gave them so much trouble.

He should have had to go through the crap that David Blatt has had to with the press. I don't think there is anyway he'd come even close to being able to handle that. Mr Deer in Headlights has run into his Little Big Horn.

The ONLY thing the media will say is that Lebron is great. They won't credit Blatt, Griffin, or the role players guys. TT is getting a LITTLE love, but the storyline will be 'Lebron does it alone.'

Best part:

IF we win 1, we will win 2. IF we beat them 2 times in Cleveland, we will win the series. It's just that simple.

Yeah, and WHEN we win the next game, your sh*t season is over!

Everybody has been talking as if we have been outclassed. We have not been outclassed. We have been beaten with all odds against us and we have still been right there... except for game 2.

Nah, when Kyrie went down again, most odds were actually against us, tbh.

Think about it. DMC hurt, No Korver, Horf ejected in the first half...Refs making Cavs Calls over and over.

If somebody said that those were the conditions and we got down by 10 against the Cavs and Came back and could have won it before overtime....

No Kyrie, James missing his first 10 shots (which, like, never happened to him in any playoff game ever), then he got injured... But yeah, you Hawks were only in it because your players outclassed ours :chuckle:

Man, I just hope we put this sh*t team away in game 4.

Atlanta Hawks fans make me appreciate Chicago Bulls fans.

If you go over there on Atlanta's forums, you'll see people demanding LeBron's career to be ended next game or something similar. It's demented.

I'd feel more sympathy for Atlanta but they lost 6 points of their 9 point lead to a lineup of Delly, JR, Marion, Jones, and TT IIRC...

Hm, I have experienced the exact opposite. The Atlanta Hawks subreddit today is being extremely reasonable and rational and acknowledge that Horford tried to throw Delly down.

Regardless, there are shitty fans and shitty websites everywhere. There's a lot of shitty Cleveland fans too. You can't group an entire cities fan base as demented.

Hawks fans have nobody to blame but their own team. They shit the bed twice at home against a hobbled, undermanned Cleveland team missing one of its key backup bigs, its second best player, and its third best player. Its best player has been playing through injury. Its (current) starting 2 guard is playing through a groin injury.

Then, they went and shit the bed in a Game 3 that they had to win - a game in which the home team started out by shooting 22% through the first few minutes and that saw its best player start 0/10 from the field.

Let's not forget to mention that the Hawks (however slightly) shot more free throws than the Cavs, and made up their entire nine point fourth quarter deficit off of free throws.

Instead of blaming the officiating that gave you more free throws than the home team, or a player who got yanked to the ground by someone a foot taller than him and much heavier, maybe they should instead be pointing fingers at their currently outclassed coach and their lifeless team, who decided not to show up for the Eastern Conference Finals until the second half of Game 3. This Atlanta team may go down as one of the worst #1 seeds of all time. They struggled against inferior teams through two rounds and have now been completely exposed.

I hope the Cavs demolish them by 30 tomorrow night to complete the sweep and leave no doubt.

Pretty thin skin from Haynes. You were not disrespectful, you didn't swear at him or anything.

Pretty much. In fact, I tried to convey my disappointment more than anything.

Just followed you on twitter. Haynes has apparently completely embraced the Vardon/Lloyd shtick of taking cheap shot at the Cavs whether by innuendo or outright clickbait.

Guess I hit a nerve with Mr. Haynes:

Someone tell me his contract ends after this season? What did he expect?

Might I also add how unprofessional this response is. And this is the best sports journalism has to offer apparently.
