Did you ever stop and consider that Johnny is our best bet to get the #1 Draft Pick ? I dont want him to just party, then sober up and then play - I want him to play drunk if that is what it takes !!! I dont want anything jeopardizing our Tank !!!

You can't judge him by other QBs. This punishment is purely related to something he was specifically told not to do by his coaches and which he specifically agreed not to do himself.

This is where the addiction part comes in, because I'm sure the "rational" Johnny knows that he should have never gone to that bar but the "addict" Johnny couldn't resist the urge. And while that urge maybe related to the use of drugs (alcohol or otherwise), I'm really beginning to think the thing he is addicted to is being famous. He's been adored for most of his (young) adult life, and I really think he just eats that shit up of people taking his picture and partying with "Johnny Football" and that's more important to him than the actual consumption of those drugs, which he could just as easily in the privacy of his home.

Fortunately for that part of him, our starfucker society will continue to feed into that even if he never does anything more in the NFL. Unfortunately for his rational part, the NFL is going to say bye bye very soon if he can't get over being adored one.

You know I'm just pissed about this.

First off this team is so fucking devoid of interesting players to watch on both sides of the ball sans Manziel that there's no point to watching this team what-so-fucking-ever until next season.

I'm not saying Manziel is a good qb or not. But you know? It'd have been interesting to at least see if he had any potential.

This is on Farmer, Pettine and past regimes. Their refusal to draft any sort of play makers or even a JJ Watt-level talent to make this team remotely interesting to watch

This is why Farmer and Pettine should have their asses kicked out the door when the calendar reads January 4.
