Pettine let 20 seconds run off the clock with 2 timeouts left while Austin Davis flailed around not knowing what to do. If he had called one of those timeouts, he could've run a play or two to make it a FG Coons didn't have to punch in there. Instead, he left it on the board.
He mangled the clock situation. No other way to slice it.
Lol 51 yards is out of range now?
Give this narrative a rest, you guys are trying way to hard to push it forward at this point.
Considering we have passed up similar FG attempts this year, and the fact that Coons long is 44 (the longest he has attemped):Lol 51 yards is out of range now?
Give this narrative a rest, you guys are trying way to hard to push it forward at this point.
To classify that as "well out" of Coons is range is ridiculous.
There's really no other way to classify it.
We get it, you're all mad. No need to take it down an even dumber route than we already have to endure.
We ran out of time with a timeout in our pocket. How are people still defending this madness?
Pettine may look and sound like a coach, but that's where it ends. He has made bad decision after bad decision all year.
Ok, so it's just "out of his range" then.
Like what the fuck? I know it's the Internet where semantics rule, but please.
