The Browns were in FG range when the Pettine supposedly mangled the clock situation. Stupid Pettine for not foreseeing a blocked FG being returned for a TD. A good coach would've seen it coming....

Pettine let 20 seconds run off the clock with 2 timeouts left while Austin Davis flailed around not knowing what to do. If he had called one of those timeouts, he could've run a play or two to make it a FG Coons didn't have to punch in there. Instead, he left it on the board.

He mangled the clock situation. No other way to slice it.

EDIT: It was actually 27 wasted seconds. Hartline caught it with 45 seconds left. Davis didn't snap it until 18 seconds. So... yeah.

Man I want to see Browns fans go full on tank mode at the next home game. Just flat out cheer for the opposing team. How great would it have been for the cameras to have panned into the stands after that player only to see a ton of cheering Browns fans high-fiving and laughing it up.

This team just defies all logic. Friendly reminder this is the highest paid defense in the NFL. If a team scores less than 30 against us it is a surprise.
