Have to give DG some probs on the Delly deal to get that exception..
Fuck you for blowing 2 1st rounders on essentially half a season of Mozgov.
Really can't believe people are bitching about this still. Without Moz, Cavs might have been swept 2 years ago in the Finals. He made the Cavs an elite team last year. His injuries obviously robbed his effectiveness this season, but it's not like the Cavs gave up much value to get him. Would it be nice to have one of those picks? I guess, but I don't know if the Cavs make the Finals last year without him. They were sputtering prior to that trade. Here's what the Nuggets received from us in the Mozgov trade:
The pick we received from OKC which ended up being 26th overall this year (Furkman Korkmaz from Turkey)
The pick we received from Memphis that is top 5 protected for 2017, so it should finally be conveyed in next year's draft, but based off the Grizzlies moves this offseason we're talking a playoff team who's pick is likely falling in the early 20's of the draft.
Yeah, there's no legitimate reason you or anyone else should be bitching about the Mozgov trade.

It's okay to admit that Griffin is awesome but he's still prone to making mistakes. This is one of them.
Great interview....For those not interested in downloading junk like me, it's also on YouTube:

Bump.
FO did a great job adding to this roster with the minimal flexibility we had.
To add Fedler, McRae, and Dunleavy without giving up anything (short of letting Delly walk) is incredible. These guys, collectively, are going to contribute to this team way more than the players we lost. Our bench play overall should improve this year. So much more depth going into the season than we had last year it's not even funny. So many different lineups running through my head right now, we can play so many different ways. Gonna be real fun to watch. Can't wait to see how Felder & McRae grow.
Cavs very lowkey had one of the best offseasons in the league.
Some really good moves this organization has made the last few years.
I said this with less effective words in another thread...
But the key to San Antonio being San Antonio outside of Duncan(LeBron can be our Duncan... he just can't try to go to LA or whatever lol)..was stuff like this.
Seemed live every year or two they would grab two young guys and one old vet vis the second round, off the street, or in some weird trade where most teams would just take a crappy pick instead a veteran guy or not even bother making the trade....
And then all of a sudden these guys are killing it in the pre-season. Then all of a sudden, Duncan and Parker are sitting out and Gary Neal has the Spurs up 8 on the rowd with 4 minutes left, and Danny Green is all of a sudden an all-nba defender and elite shooter.
That's how the Spurs do it. The Cavs are following that formula, if they can even get it 25% as good as S.A I'd be so happy and we might not have to automatically see shitty basketball after LeBron retires.
The San Antonio approach works in part because they have a foundation of elite players and bring in the other guys to fill very well defined roles on the team. That allows those players to help you win now and give them time to see if they can develop more to their game. I think someone like Danny Green would be viewed very differently over the course of an 82 game season if he was your best player. Because that team would not win a lot of games.
