Ramirez is for real...his approach at the plate is too good, and switch hitters are always matchup proof so it's not like he posted good slashes against just RHP or LHP that inflated his overall numbers. He's also $$ defensively at 3B and will only get better the more he plays.
Chiz is going to get traded IMO, and I'm fairly confident Naquin will replace his production in RF against RHP just fine while Guyer platoons vs LHP next year.
Andrew Miller and Cody Allen are not year to year guys...they are studs. I'd expect them to bring in another reliever too.
The big one for me is if Michael Brantley is normal Michael Brantley...if we add normal Brantley to this lineup, with our pitching and now Miller, we have a legit shot at 100 wins next year, barring any freak injury seasons like we just went through.
Also, we had a few guys who had down years. I'd expect Gomes and Perez to hit better next year, and I'd expect Carrasco to be better next year as well.
We were one Carrasco start from a WS and people are not seeing this. Ramirez is the real deal and the bull pen will be as strong maybe better depending on the moves. We need to add a few more solid hitters maybe bring back Napoli because can win if we had our second and third pitchers and Carrasco is near ace material. When the Cubs had four healthy three of witch are CY young type pitchers. I do not know what else anyone wanted from this team.
